I need help with my gallery styles

Previous Entry I need help with my gallery styles Mar. 19th, 2005 @ 10:45 pm Next Entry
One of my galleries is a different style than what I have chosen to use and I can't figure out for the life of me how to fix it. I'm using Portfoloroid with my own theme. Here is my normal style and here is the gallery that is messed up. This is driving me nuts. Any help would be appreciated.

Also...I'm not sure if it would work, but would it be possible to incorporate a header image above my gallery if I wanted to like you can with a journal? Or make a background image that I could center above the gallery? I don't know very much about coding so I don't know where to begin to figure out the right way to go about it.

Thanks again for any help.

when logged in, there should be a manage link on your gallery page. click that, make sure that the style is set to "default" and then it will use the regular layout that you have set for the rest of your pics.lj account.

i think you are using portfoloroid and it is closed source, specifically because it contains javascript to operate the menu in the upper left hand corner.

see the userinfo of fblayers to see which layouts are open source. these you will easily be able to override *Page::print() to include a header image.

using a css hack to move the body down and put in a background image that will then appear to be a header image does not work in mac browsers but it would be much easier and might work for the closed source layouts.
