Entries With Pictures

I know this has been asked before but I am not even really sure how to look up the entry to find it... Was wondering if there is a way to find all of the entires I have posted with pictures. Want to clear out my scrapbook except for pictures that are in posts. Is this at all possible? Or do I have to go through posts one by one? Thanks!
i would think that you've have to go entry by entry.
tho... i suppose the lj dev's could write a tool that searches your entries.
what it would have to look for is
you can also download something such as ljarchive
to download your entries/comments and do a string search yourself. tho... ljarchive
is a windows-only program. xjournal
can do a similar thing if you are a mac user.
Hmm, interesting, how does one do that with xJournal? I would very much like to.
is a screen, found on the features
page, of the history window in which you can search your entries for words.
i am unsure if xjournal
can download comments.
oh... i also usually put the journal and itemid number of the entry into the description of the picture. such as this
I have a private memories group set up that I add any entries where I have linked images in them. As I create a new entry, I add it to this memories group. This way when I want to move my photohosting I can just go into that memories group.
Unforutnately, it required going through most of my entries to create the group when I first thought of it :)
It's a great idea though. I need to consider it too - I never thought to make any private entries groups, but why not, ya know?
You'd be surprised how well it worked :)
