I'm a bit new to Scrapbook, but I've flipped through the last four pages and haven't found the answer to my question yet, so here goes . .

Can paid users post pictures from their scrapbook galleries on communities? Can paid users basically post their pictures anywhere in the Livejournal domain, or is it just restricted to your own journal?

My other question has probably been covered past those four pages, but are there any plans for FTP? It's really tiring uploading dozens of pics through the browser interface, and I honestly wouldn't mind paying a bit more for FTP access . .

Thanks in advance!

I believe you can show the images where you like, not just from your own LJ. I could be wrong though

As for not liking the web interface, have you tried one of the clients? http://www.picpix.com/site/clients

I've never used the windows client, but the command line one works very well for my needs

I've tried the Windows client before but it always crashes when I try to upload. I guess that's what happens when you use a program that was made two years before the service started. ^^;

I just posted a bunch of pics to a community and they're all showing! Thanks for the advice!

You can post your Scrapbook pics anywhere, on LJ, on Web Forums, on any site you wan't to..

Meh on FTP, because it wouldn't allow all the extra info one puts in when they upload ( Same reason I don't like the windows client.. ) .. But it would be nice if someone made a better windows client, where you could upload as many as you want, to the folder you want, with the names and description you want.. .. But that'll probibly be a while out..

DOesn't really work for me on PHPBB forums, because it won't post images without an extension.. which these images don't have.

I like FTP because it's fast and you can upload a bunch of pics at once just by dragging the mouse around. :) I always post pics directly into my journal and write the caption there so don't need the extra info feature. But maybe that's just me . .

Cool!! So even stuff outside LJ like photoshop contest hosting on Fark is ok? If so, it's good to be a paid user as I've been trying to find some inexpensive host that can take a gig of daily bandwidth. ;)

Um, I have semagic and have yet to figure out how to use it to upload pics... I mean, I know I can link to them, but I believe someone said you could use it to upload into the fotobilder?

Past few latest versions of Semagic have a link in the LiveJournal menu at the top. I haven't used it but I know that's the menu option you use.
