Missing Thumbnails

Same problem on one of mine.

Its a thumnail focus issue. If I change between "scale" and "Crop but fit exactly" - any thumbnail in which I changed the focus point will go all wonky, and I have to resample the thumbnail before it shows. Thats why.

I'm not sure. I've had a play with Thumbnail Focus, but I still couldn't make them appear. Actually, the Thumbnail Focus stuff looks haywire on some of the pictures in my gallery.

It looks to me like some of the thumbnail pictures have simply disappeared at some point in the last few days. Anyway, I have found that I can get them back by going into Alter Picture, flipping the affected picture, and then flipping it back as it was.

Then perhaps it has less to do with thumbnails, and more to do with image modification. Because "modifying" the image in some way is what clears it, apparently. (In my case I modify the thumbnail.)

I never changed that setting, though.

I'm so confused. I just stumbled on to LJ's scrapbook main page. And it said join this community to start posting pics. I'm a paid user. How do I join this community?? THANKS!

Well, this community won't let you post any pics as such. You can join by clicking on the text link on the userinfo page here: http://www.livejournal.com/userinfo.bml?user=fotobilder_user.

However, joining the community'll just let you post entries here. The community's for asking questions and sharing information while ScrapBook is still in beta (testing); not for posting pictures per se.

If you want to post pics to your scrapbook, which I guess is http://pics.livejournal.com/mscarebear/ then click the Manage link while on pics.livejournal.com (if you're logged in) and go to the upload option. Somewhere on the Scrapbook pages there's a link to a client (program) too.

........Then again I guess you may've already worked that all out since posting that comment, given that you now have a customised Scrapbook with 70 images! :-|
