First I would like to say that I really love this photo album idea of LiveJournals! This has really excited me, and caused me to get a paid account!
But, may I make a small suggestion?
After setting up my album, and sharing my link to all of my friends, most of them said some pretty funny comments that I would like to share with my other viewers. One of my friends said it would be really nice to have a comment feature on either the galleries or the seperate picture itself! I agree! I think that would a be wonderful idea to have included with this wonderful paid feature!!
its on the todo list if i remember correctly.

Why not make a link to it and post it in your journal? You can cut tag it, or insert it as an image. The FAQ tells you how. I am not quite certain if this is the correct one, as I am not an HTML goddess, but here is a bit of description copied direct from the FAQ.
To add an image to your journal entry or user bio, use an
tag where you want the image to appear:
Within the code, "http://www.example.com/image.jpg
" must be replaced by the actual URL of the image, and "title or description" can be changed to give the image a title or description of your choice.
Hope that helps
Hi ... am trying out this new feature of LJ land ... where do i find the FAQ for FotoBilder?

I am not quite sure that there is one yet. The FAQ I was posting from is the regular live journal faq. I think they are working on one for photobuilder. What is it you are trying to do? I dont know a whole lot about it. Most of what little I have done has been more just experimenting and seeing how well I can break things. :)
Thanks for the quick response ... i'm not trying to any particular think; usually FAQs are a good way to learn more about a system and i'm just trying to learn more about FotoBilder - but thats what everyone here is trying to do ... learn how it works ... unsure how to get it to my journal page. If i create a link then it will only go into that one posting ... is there a way to have it at the top of my LJ page?

if you are doing a custom s2 build I am sure you can post a link to it. I havent messed with my journal style much as I am lazy :) I would think that would be more in the s2 FAQ as that more pertains to how you want your actual journal to look. I hope I am making sense?
Yes, you are, you have ... thanks for the pointers :)

There isn't one as of yet. FAQs for the Photo Hosting Service will be added as soon as LiveJournal offers support for it, and that'll be when the feature comes out of beta.
i actually think it'd be better to have comments linked to the picture itself rather than to livejournal entries with the picture posted in them--that way, subsequent viewers of the same picture (who may or may not read the picture-owner's livejournal) may also see the comments and leave one of their own.

That is true, but right now, they dont have that as a feature yet. I know they are going to add it at some point when they get that part of code working. I am just thinking of a work around for now until they get it to where we think it ought to be.

i totally agree..
Did the page keep your interest until you were done? YES - until it displayed the message that my current status would not allow me to upload any. That should be first and foremost in bold for those that want to. Here's and idea, some want to upload a picture to "show" what they are posting about. Maybe there is a way to have someone sponsor or host a picture with permission of a current account that is able to do so. This would spark the interest of more people and then further persuade them into a paying account.
