I just realized I made a minor niggling mistake in one of the images I uploaded.
I corrected it and went back to the image to manage it, and I realized there was no option to edit the image. I can edit the text I used to describe it, but not the image itself, unless I want to change its size or icon it.
I'll have to delete it entirely rather than just re-uploading the corrected image to the same place.
Is there a workaround I'm not aware of, or might this be placed on the wishlist for fixes?

How exactly do you need to edit the image?

I think what she means is that she wants to upload the new image over the old one, just replace it. Instead, she has to upload the new one, then go and delete the other one.

Yes, I would like this feature too. For example, I'm using FotoBilder to host background graphics for my journal. If I decide one day that I want my navigation tabs to be green instead of purple, with the current system I have to go and recode all the links in my style. And it's not as if the FB URLs are exactly intuitive, either. A much more efficient system would be if there was a way to save a new image 'over' the old image.
Or of course, if you could assign filenames, which I believe is supposed to be on the cards, then I could just give the new image the same name as the older one.
