A bug, an annoyance, and a feature request.

Previous Entry A bug, an annoyance, and a feature request. Jul. 22nd, 2004 @ 10:15 pm Next Entry
1) On the page at http://pics.livejournal.com/fosterbass/pic/00001qgc/ , the "up" link goes to http://pics.livejournal.com/fosterbass/gallery/00001rbe which is "Not Found".

2) Clicking the "provide feedback on this page" button opened the feedback posting form in the browser window that I had a half-written journal entry in. Pressing the back button inserted some of text from the feedback page into my journal entry.

3) Is there a feature to post a thumnail in my journal and have it link to the larger version? (Obviously I can do it myself, but I think it would be useful for members that are not familiar with html).

Re: (1) Works fine for me.

Re: (3) You can post images to your journal through the Manage Pics area. But beyond that. No.

3) There is, but it's cumbersome. The only way I've found to do it is:
a. Select Manage gallery]
b. Select the gallery
c. Choose the Pictures link
d. select picture(s) to post to gallery via checkbox and press Post Selected Photos to Journal button
e. select posting style Table and press Post to Journal button.

Like I said, cumbersome. 5 steps to do something that ought to take maybe two.

Were you able to get to the feeback form? I wasn't and tried posting about it, following the error message's instructions, but the post was rejected. I click on the link to provide feedback, it pops open a new tab, and I receive this error...

The only way to fill out this survey is to press the "Provide Feedback" button on http://pics.livejournal.com, provided at the bottom of each page. If there wasn't a button for you to press, or you have some other related feedback, please post about it to the community fotobilder_user. Thank you!

I tried looking through older entries, but didn't immediately see any posts that had to do with it.
