For about half an hour I couldnt update through the client.
I get the error message *data sent does not match MD5* .
The error keeps coming and going.
Then when I go to upload through the webpage,I load the pic and it throws me to the picpix login page. However if I go back to the gallery, the picture has actually uploaded.
I recently put Fotobilder on my main server and I'm having a bit of an issue getting it working. It installs and runs just fine, but I cannot upload pics or see my galleries in the Manage Galleries screen.
Right away, I noticed that my pic_root directory doesn't exist, so I created it, but it still isn't working. Even with new users. Nothing is showing up in the Apache logs. When I do the webupload, I get a "
Server Error: Failed to find/create spool directory.".
What permissions should I have for picroot? I've tried having as the fb user and the web server's user. No luck. Weird thing is I had gotten it working on my old development quick and easy... this one is a pain.
Ok, I guess this is a style request more than anything, but here goes.
For browsers that support full alpha pngs's.. It'd be nice if when you make a theme you could declare the opacity(sp?) and color of the drop shadow. right now i think the shadows are, by far, to opaque they stand out way too much. I think with a bit of coding, it would be easy to dynamically generate the dropshadow image.. or create it when you update your theme and store it for later use... What i'm getting at is a way you can define from the style how transparent you'd want your shadow to be and in what color. If I understand correctly, when you do this with an alpha png you only use 1 color and the full alpha channel, so this shouln't be hard to implement at all, also, for the vertical and horizontal gradients you wouldn't have to generate the whole image on the fly, just 1 row, and 1 column and then stretch them with HTML.. as for the corner, i guess thats a bit trickier, but this is just a suggestion, i'm sure you guys could figure it out, and if not, i'll try to think hard
i know i've mentioned this before... a couple of times.... but any chance of getting those bugs fixed where i get dumped from pics.livejournal.com to picpix.com? it's really annoying since i can only log in to pics.livejournal.com so when i get dumped to picpix it just sends me to the log in page and i dont get to use those features, which are the user permissions and create group, and the web upload.
